Riding the tip of the African continent means navigating diverse microclimates. We time our tours to coincide with South Africa’s most stable and scenic seasons.
The Sweet Spot (September – November & February – April): Spring (Sept-Nov) brings the famous West Coast wildflower blooms and mild temperatures around 22°C. Late Summer (Feb-April) offers dry, sunny days and calm coastal breezes, perfect for the Garden Route.
The High Summer (December – January): While beautiful, it is the peak of the local holiday season. Roads are crowded, and temperatures in the interior can spike toward 35°C.
The Winter (June – August): This is the rainy season for the Western Cape. While the north remains dry, the southern coastal routes can be wet, windy, and cold.
